PREMIUM MATCHA QUALITY
Morimoto Matcha, the finest from the Morimoto family, is ground into an ultra-fine powder using a ceramic mill. The resulting tea, with its intense green color, should be whisked in hot water (50–60°C) using a bamboo whisk (chasen)until it reaches a creamy, frothy texture.
This Matcha is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. It is also excellent for cold beverages in summer and can be used to enhance desserts.

Tasting notes: Rich in delicate tannins, contains caffeine.
MATCHA
Matcha tea is rare and of exceptionally high quality. It is made from the youngest tea leaves, grown in the shade, and then stone-ground into a very fine powder. Since the 12th century, it has been used by Buddhist monks to enhance focus during meditation, and it is the tea traditionally served in the Japanese tea ceremony, which emerged in the late 15th century and is deeply rooted in Zen philosophy.
Matcha contains a high concentration of caffeine — about six times higher than coffee per gram of powder. However, since less Matcha is used per serving, the total caffeine content in a bowl of Matcha is roughly equivalent to that of a strong espresso (60–80 mg).
Unlike coffee, the caffeine in Matcha is bound to other plant compounds, meaning it is released in the intestines rather than in the stomach. This results in a slower, gentler, and longer-lasting effect, providing calm, sustained energy without the jittery crash associated with coffee.
