THE FIRST ORGANIC OOLONG TEA FROM PORTUGAL
Longchá is the very first Oolong tea produced in Portugal by the Chá Camélia team.
The word Oolong comes from the Chinese “Wulong”, meaning “black dragon.” There are many legends surrounding the origin of this tea. One tells of a man named Wu Liang who accidentally dropped his tea leaves and forgot about them — as they began to oxidize, they developed new and complex aromas. Over time, his name evolved into Wulong, and later Oolong.
Another legend says that small dragons can be seen unfurling from the tea leaves as they open in hot water.
Our Longchá is semi-oxidized, inspired by the lighter Taiwanese-style Oolongs. Let yourself be enchanted by the beautiful leaves and delicate flavors of our Portuguese Oolong.

DRINKING TEA – A SIMPLE PLEASURE THAT MAKES SUCH A DIFFERENCE

Observe the color of the tea and the shape of the leaves.
Inhale the aroma of the dry leaves and then the fragrance rising from your cup.
Take your first sip slowly, savoring the taste and texture — then pause before the next one, allowing the first sip to linger and fill you with the tea’s essence.
You may also find extra joy in the feel of the cup, its texture, or the warmth in your hands.
Quiet your mind from outside thoughts and sounds, and enjoy your tea without distraction — simply relax...

THE SPIRIT OF TEA
The spirit of tea is the spirit of peace,
and the culture of tea is the culture of hospitality.
Tea creates an atmosphere that encourages and nurtures good social relationships.
But the spirit of tea cannot be confined to the tea house.
It is vital for the harmonious coexistence of humankind and nature.
