ORGANIC SEASONED OLIVE OIL – DEMETER
Quality that inspires. Fresh basil leaves are milled together with freshly harvested olives and then extracted into this delicious oil. The basil releases its essential oils, creating a natural and flavorful olive oil. Perfect for salads, tomato-mozzarella dishes, pasta creations, and all Mediterranean cuisine. Simply drizzled on toasted baguette, it’s a delight!

TASTE
You’ll find a pleasant sharpness, light bitter notes, and an intense basil flavor — everything a good olive oil should have. The basil is pressed together with the olives.

CULTIVATION / PRODUCTION
On 170 hectares of land, more than 35,000 olive trees — some up to 800 years old — thrive on the farm. Only Portuguese olive varieties such as Cobrançosa, Galega Vulgar, Cordovil, Galega Grada de Serpa, Gamenha, Verdeal, Carrasquenha, and Mançanilha are grown. On the remaining 50 hectares, citrus fruits, herbs, and spices are also cultivated in Demeter organic quality.
During harvesting, modern machinery is used to treat the trees and olives with the utmost care. The mill is located directly on the estate, ensuring a very short transport route — the freshly harvested Demeter olives are processed within four hours of picking.
